She has been learning Indian classical music for more than 15 years and already worked on some music teaching projects also to stretch her imagination and musical boundaries. Career & Training

Supriya Das hails from Sylhet, Bangladesh - a city of natural beauty. She started learning music from a very early age from her mother Sujata Paul. Winning her way through several national label competitions, she participated in the National Education Week Competition in 2002, 2003 & 2004 and won 1st prize (Gold Medal), 3rd prize (Bronze Medal) & 1st prize (Gold Medal) respectively in Rabindra Sangeet. In 2008 she achieved Prothom Maan in the National Competition organized by Jatio Rabindra Sangeet Sammilan. She won the award of being the champion for scoring highest in her group in Jatio Shishu Kishor Sangshkritik Protijogita in 2009. She achieved 'Sangeet Mukul' title by Dhruba Parishad in 2005. Supriya has released a musical CD named 'Raage Anuraage Panchakabi'with her three Guru sisters Sharmila Majumder, Priyanka Das Tithi & Barsha Majumder from Laser Vision Bangladesh in 2015. It is a collection of some songs of five versatile legends of Bangla music & literature (Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Atul Prasad Sen, Dwijendra Lal Roy & Rajanikanta Sen) commonly known as Pancha Kabi with blending of corresponding Raaga of those songs. She has also rendered voice for "Shruti Geetobitan".

Supriya das performed on the big stage of Bengal Classical Music Festival Dhaka. Her others notable appearances were Lakshyapar Classical Music Conference, Daily Star’s Celebrating Life Concert in Jahangirnagar University, Shuddha Sangeet Utsab of Chhayanaut, Hindol Classical Music Program Rajshahi, Classical Music Program by Shilpakala Academy Dhaka, Sadarang Classical Music Conference Chittagong, Shahjalal University of Science & Technology Sylhet, Begum Rokeya University Rangpur, Sangeet Utsab of Jagannath University.

She is an A Grade Artiste in Nazrul Sangeet and Special Grade Artiste in Classical Vocal at Bangladesh Betar and enlisted in Bangladesh Television for Classical, Rabindra Sangeet & Nazrul Sangeet recitals. She is working as an Assistant tutor in Khayal Department of Bengal Parampara Sangeetalay & Lakshyapar Parampara and as a Teacher at Chhyanaut Sangeet Bidyayatan. She also worked as a Vocal Strength Instructor in Yamaha Music School, Bangladesh.

Supriya had her BBA and MBA degrees from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), Sylhet. As she has taken music as the one and only mission in life, she decided to continue academic studies in music and earned Master degree in Music (MMus) from the University of Development Alternative, Dhaka. Her first guru is the late Pandit Ramkanai Das who taught her for about fourteen years until his death. In her next phase, Supriya went to Dr. Ali FM Razwan for taleem. Now she is under the tutelage of Gwalior Gharana Exponent Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar at Bengal Parampara Sangeetalay and learning Khayal from 2014 to till now.
